Quick answers

Do I need a new app?

No. Keep Moblin, IRL Pro, Larix or OBS. You change one server address, and in Moblin and Larix a QR code does it for you.

Twitch has its own disconnect protection. Why Uptimecast?

Twitch holds your stream for 90 seconds with its generic screen, then the stream ends and the VOD splits. We hold it as long as you set, show your own BRB screen with music and switch to it in about a second.

Can I try it first?

Yes. The first month is a trial: connect, stream as usual and decide if you want to stay.

What happens if I press Stop in Moblin?

To us that looks like a lost signal, so your BRB screen stays on. End the stream with !stop in chat, /end in Telegram or the button on the site. If you forget, it ends by itself after 15 minutes.

Will my quality drop?

No. We don't re-encode your video, it goes to Twitch exactly as you send it.

Who can see my stream key?

You paste it in your cabinet and it goes straight to the stream server. The site does not keep it and never shows it again: you can only replace it.

Does it work for PC streams too?

Yes. OBS sends to us over RTMP or SRT. If your PC or internet hiccups, viewers see your BRB screen instead of an offline page.
